A SEASON OF CHANGE
It is with a sense of gentle sadness that I announce that Jon Bukiewicz has retired as the bass player for The Singing Company. Jon has been there from the beginning?we recorded horrible early demos for The Red Book Sessions in his kitchen before the band existed?and he has been faithful every step of the way, always giving his best and always pushing for excellence. He will be greatly missed (on many levels) and the band is proud of him for making this transition as he goes back to school. If you have a moment, pray for Jon and his beautiful family in this time of transition.
And with that news we are also excited to announce that Enrique Villatoro will be joining the band on bass. Enrique is a great friend of the band and we have played many times together in worship bands not-known-as-The-Singing-Company. He is a natural fit and we are grateful for his willingness to join this ministry.
The Singing Company is in a season of change and we are going to step up our preparation for worship by starting to have weekly practices on Monday nights. We feel like the Lord is calling us to more and are excited to start next week.

We have just completed the recording process for our brand new album entitled "The Mercy Seat Sessions."
It is a 13 song collection that deals with themes such as reconciliation, salvation, holiness and the kingdom of God.
We are planning for a release to co-incide with the 2008 USA Central Youth Congress held by the Salvation Army in June of this year.
Please stay tuned for sneak peaks and more information!
